Do you have a minimum amount of services that you travel out for?

Yes, we will only travel out of the salon for 8 services or more.

Yes, we have a team of ten hair and makeup artists and generally work in teams of 2-3 artists, these mini teams may have more than one booking in a day.

Do you give exact times upon booking?
No, we will advise an exact time closer to the wedding date as we do take multiple bookings on certain days, we
endeavour to accomodate each bridal party and their requested time to be ready by. It is important that you advise us of your ceremony time and
the time you would like to be ready by to help us organise our schedule at the time of booking.
We always ensure you are completed by your requested by ready time.
How do you allocate times to multiple bookings?

If we have multiple bookings on a day we work backwards from the time of the latest wedding.

How long does it usually take to do a whole bridal parties hair and makeup?

As we work in teams of artists the process can take as little as 2 hours depending on the party numbers.

Yes, individual lashes are included in our makeup price, Modelrock bar lashes can be purchased at an additional cost.
What skin care regime do you recommend in the lead up to my wedding?
We advise to see a qualified dermal therapist and arrange a personalised skin care plan including at home products for 3-6 months prior to your wedding.
We also advise to drink plenty of water in the lead up so that your skin is really hydrated.

We carry a range of Lonvitalite eye and face silk sheet masks that can be applied to refresh, rehydrate, add volume back to the skin at an additional cost.

When do you recommend having a trial?

Usually 2-3 months out from your wedding date, after you know what you are wearing and the look you are going for.

Do you do trial's on a Friday or Saturday?

We generally do NOT do trials on Friday or Saturday as we are usually out doing weddings, but if you opt to do your trial in the middle of the year (not wedding season) you might be able to secure a booking on those days.

Yes! We offer a touch up service where we can meet you between your ceremony and reception for touchups at an additional cost.

Do you suggest I have filler’s / botox before my wedding to freshen my look?

We are asked this question a lot and we recommend seeking a professional consultation to see if it is appropriate for you. Our personal opinion is that Botox does help to smooth the skin giving it a nice glow, preventing over animation in photos, many brides also choose to have cheek, under eye and lip fillers.

How do I prepare my skin pre-wedding?

We have a highly qualified dermal therapist who can work with your individual skin to prepare a pre-wedding “skin plan” targeted for your specific needs and goals.  Services include; specialised facials (including our #blondiebabe radiance facial specifically designed for brides), chemical peels, LED light therapy and Hydrafacials.

Do you suggest I get a spray tan?
Yes, a light spray tan or rub on tan will give you skin a nice glow.  Dont go too dark though!
Should I trial my spray tan before my trial?

YES!! You want to get a complete picture of how you will look on your wedding day, if you are having a tan this affects the foundation colour choice.

You suggest a trial 1 - 2 months before the wedding but i needed to book you a year in advance should i have two trials?

It depends usually most brides have seen our work before and are happy to book in their date and pay the deposit to secure the date and then have the trial closer to the wedding, but if you are unsure you can have a trial pre booking in the date.

* if you choose this option you can run the risk of missing out on your chosen date, we will endeavour to contact you prior to booking another wedding if you have chosen to trial before booking.

Do you recommend a particular spray tanner?

We have 6 qualified Spray Aus tanners in house at Blondie. Spray Aus is the best colour on the market.

When should I get my eyebrows waxed before my wedding?

We suggest a week before your wedding, the reason for this is that the foundation may not adhere to freshly waxed skin.

When should i have my hair coloured prior to my wedding?

We recommend having your colour  4 – 6 days prior to your day, This allows the colour time to settle but will still be very fresh.
